FCT Police Arrest Pastor Over Alleged Car Theft in Abuja

FCT Police Arrest Pastor Over Alleged Car Theft in Abuja

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has arrested a pastor and another suspect over an alleged car theft in Abuja.

The pastor, identified as Edwin Nwabueze, was reportedly arrested alongside another suspect, Sadiq Jamiu, following the alleged theft of a Toyota Camry at UTC Plaza in the Garki area of Abuja.

According to reports citing the FCT Police Command, Nwabueze identified himself as a pastor with Salvation Power Bible Ministry in Benue State.

Police investigations reportedly linked the two suspects to an alleged interstate car theft syndicate.

The police said the suspects were arrested during an investigation into the missing vehicle, while further inquiries were ongoing to establish their alleged involvement and identify other possible members of the suspected network.

The arrest has attracted attention because one of the suspects reportedly identified himself as a pastor.

However, it is important to note that the suspects have not been convicted, and the allegations against them remain subject to investigation and due legal process.

The FCT Police Command is expected to continue its investigation into the case.
