Tragedy in Anambra: Police Recover Two Bodies of Kidnapped Cameroonian Women


In a tragic development, Anambra State Police Command have recovered two bodies believed to be among the three Cameroonian women kidnapped recently in the state. The bodies were reportedly found in the Omambala River, Anambra West Local Government Area.

Authorities have confirmed that the recovered bodies were positively identified by relatives as Bognou Alice and her niece Sandra. Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the kidnapping, while a third suspect remains at large.

The investigation is ongoing, including forensic examinations of the bodies, and police continue to search for the third kidnapped woman. Families and communities are urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to authorities.
