Sokoto Police Arrest Bandit Financiers Including Fulani Leader Ruwa Ginyo

 


The Sokoto State Police Command has arrested three suspected financiers and informants of bandit gangs, including Ruwa Ginyo, the Fulani head of Gidan-Madi in Tangaza Local Government Area. The arrests are part of ongoing efforts by security forces to dismantle the networks supporting armed banditry in the Northwest.

Authorities say the suspects played a critical role in funding, coordinating, and providing intelligence to notorious bandit groups that have terrorized local communities. The police have vowed to continue their crackdown on criminal networks to restore safety and security in the region.
