Nigerian Army Dismisses Personnel After 19 Years Over Alleged Cultism

 


A Nigerian Army personnel, reportedly serving for 19 years, has been dismissed following allegations of cultism and insubordination, sparking outrage among Nigerians and military enthusiasts.

According to reports from Sahara Reporters, the soldier, nicknamed King Dino/Wisdom Man, joined the army in 2006 and had an extensive career that included frontline deployments against Boko Haram in Northeast Nigeria.

Allegations against him include cultism and insubordination.

His pay was reportedly blocked and bank accounts frozen for a year prior to the dismissal.

Sources claim he was demoted from sergeant before being discharged.

A video source, known as “The Moon,” defended the soldier, emphasizing his long service and frontline experience, describing the cultism allegation as “baseless.”

The soldier served nearly two decades in the military, making the dismissal seem harsh and controversial.

There is no official statement from the Nigerian Army publicly confirming the allegations or disciplinary actions.
