Nigerian Air Force Officer Arrested with Illegal Firearms — Claims Guns Came from Edo Government House


 In a shocking development, a Nigerian Air Force (NAF) officer was recently arrested in Kogi State for allegedly transporting illegal firearms. The officer, identified as ACM Anas Muhammad Fakai, was caught with two pump-action rifles and a Browning pistol.

According to reports, Fakai told investigators that the firearms were handed to him by an “Inspector Paul” from Edo Government House. The weapons were reportedly destined for a police constable who serves as an orderly to a Commissioner of Police at the Nigeria Police Force headquarters in Abuja.

Authorities have taken Fakai and the recovered firearms into custody, and investigations are ongoing. While the officer’s statement points to a connection with Edo Government House, this has not yet been independently verified, and no official conclusion has been announced.
