Tragedy in Warri: 60-Year-Old American Woman Dies at Nigerian Boyfriend’s Home

 



A heartbreaking incident has unfolded in Warri, Delta State, Nigeria, where a 60-year-old American woman, Jacqueline Bolling Elton, tragically passed away at her Nigerian boyfriend's home. Jacqueline had traveled thousands of miles to meet her 39-year-old boyfriend, Alawode Olaide, in what was supposed to be a joyous reunion.

According to reports, Jacqueline became ill on Monday, September 29, and was rushed to a nearby private hospital in Otokutu. Due to the severity of her condition, she was immediately transferred to the Central Hospital in Warri. Sadly, she was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.


The police were promptly notified, and an investigation has been launched to determine the cause of Jacqueline's death. Alawode Olaide has been taken into custody for questioning to help authorities understand the events leading up to her passing. Her body has been moved to a mortuary for an autopsy, which will provide crucial information about the circumstances surrounding her death.
