The central point of contention is the show's inclusion of a transgender character (Barney Guttman) in a series marketed to a younger audience (rated TV-Y7). Musk amplified the outrage, directly telling his followers to:

This strong stance positions the move as a parental-driven protest against media representation of transgender themes in children's entertainment.

 The Creator's Alleged Remarks

The protest escalated when attention turned to the show's creator, Hamish Steele. Viral social media posts claimed that Steele had made highly inflammatory and profane comments mocking the recent assassination of right-wing activist Charlie Kirk, allegedly referring to Kirk as a "nazi."
