Musk and conservative critics have specifically targeted the animated series Dead End: Paranormal Park. Although the show was canceled in 2023, clips and discussions about its content resurfaced, drawing intense scrutiny.

The central point of contention is the show's inclusion of a transgender character (Barney Guttman) in a series marketed to a younger audience (rated TV-Y7). Musk amplified the outrage, directly telling his followers to:

"Cancel Netflix for the health of your kids."

This strong stance positions the move as a parental-driven protest against media representation of transgender themes in children's entertainment.

 The Creator's Alleged Remarks

The protest escalated when attention turned to the show's creator, Hamish Steele. Viral social media posts claimed that Steele had made highly inflammatory and profane comments mocking the recent assassination of right-wing activist Charlie Kirk, allegedly referring to Kirk as a "nazi."

Musk responded to these posts with sharp criticism, stating the alleged comments were "not ok," and later using derogatory language against the creator. For many critics, the incident served as evidence that Netflix employs individuals whose political and ideological leanings are offensive or "extreme."

While it is difficult to determine the immediate impact on Netflix’s massive subscriber base, Musk’s call for a boycott has already had a measurable effect:
