American singer D4vd (David Anthony Burke), best known for his viral hit “Here With Me”, is facing intense public scrutiny after reports confirmed that he transferred ownership of two Houston homes to his mother amid an ongoing police investigation linked to the death of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez.
According to property records obtained by the New York Post, the transfers were made on September 18 and 22, 2025, shortly after police conducted a swatting raid on one of his Texas residences.
Authorities launched the investigation after human remains were discovered inside a Tesla registered to D4vd in Los Angeles. The victim was later identified as Celeste Rivas Hernandez, a missing California teenager.
Though no formal charges have been filed against D4vd, the timing of the property transfers has raised eyebrows among fans and media outlets.
A law enforcement source told reporters that D4vd is “cooperating fully with authorities,” but investigators are still working to determine how the vehicle ended up connected to the tragic death.
The 19-year-old artist, who rose to fame in 2022 for his dreamy, emotional tracks and viral performances, has since canceled his world tour to “focus on personal matters,” according to his management.
Fans have expressed shock and confusion across social media, with some urging patience until official findings are released, while others question the motive behind the sudden property transfers.
Authorities in both Texas and California continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the case, as the story unfolds.
