Bandits Attack Kaduna Hospital, Abduct Doctor, Patients, and Security Guard


 In yet another chilling episode of insecurity in Nigeria, armed bandits have attacked a private hospital in Kujama, Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State, abducting a medical doctor, five patients, and a security guard.

The incident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday, October 21, 2025, when heavily armed men invaded Nasara Nursing and Maternity Home, firing sporadically to scare residents before whisking away their victims.

Eyewitnesses report that the attackers arrived in large numbers and operated for several minutes without resistance. A security personnel who tried to stop them was reportedly shot multiple times and is currently receiving treatment.

“They came around midnight and surrounded the hospital. They took the doctor on duty, some patients, and the security man. It was a terrifying experience,” a resident told reporters.

This latest attack comes amid a wave of kidnappings targeting healthcare workers and institutions in Kaduna. Security experts have expressed concern that hospitals are becoming soft targets for criminal gangs who demand ransom for kidnapped victims.

Authorities are yet to issue an official statement regarding the incident, but locals say security operatives have been deployed to the area for rescue operations.
